Clarens
One of the best encounters I had throughout the entire year of 2022, was during my second week at MiXchange. The entire office went away on a camping trip in Clarens. We had a session one afternoon in the chapel with Pastor Sharon where she taught about singing in the spirit. Everyone was given the opportunity to sing in the spirit and to make melody to the Lord in their hearts. My spiritual eyes were opened and for the first time, I started seeing people around me for the spiritual beings that they are.
After the session ended, I became aware of the presence of God. His presence was undeniably palpable. I experienced the manifested presence of God like never before. The scripture that clung to my mind was Psalm 139:7 – “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I go from Your presence?”. The Holy Spirit was so on me that it felt like I could reach out and touch Him. I also experienced the glory of God through the beauty of nature. His presence stayed with me all afternoon. Even when I went to bed and woke up again, I could still feel His presence around me. I consider that day to be one of the best days of my life. Any day I get to spend with God is the best day of my life. I praise God for manifesting Himself to me in that way.
